CleanFlorida has a protocol in place to ensure technicians remain productive during cell service outages. If you experience an outage, the first step is to determine whether it’s an individual issue (just your phone) or a regional outage. In both cases, head to the office between 8:15 AM and 8:45 AM to collect your printed work orders for the day. The office is located at 1029 Airport Pulling Road North, Naples, FL 34104.
Upon arrival, you’ll receive printed work orders with names and times highlighted for clarity, organized chronologically. If it’s a regional outage, the office will notify clients about potential delays. If the issue is with your phone only, the office will communicate any delays to your clients directly.
Throughout the day, follow the printed work orders for guidance, and communicate with the team via WhatsApp when possible, using alternative methods if necessary. Ensure you record your in and out times at each house on both the WhatsApp app (if available) and your printed work orders.
At the end of the day, return your work order with all times noted to the office. This is critical for accurate payment processing, as manual entries will be made. Late submissions will not be accepted, and this step must be completed on the same day.
By following these steps, you help maintain smooth operations and ensure reliable service to clients, even during cell service disruptions. CleanFlorida appreciates your cooperation and flexibility in adhering to this straightforward process, ensuring work can continue without interruptions. .
When you arrive at a home or office, always lock the door behind you. This helps keep you safe while you work. Only let in visitors or vendors who have been approved by our office and the property owner.
If you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe for any reason, leave immediately. Call our office right away so we can help. Your safety comes first!
If you’re unable to leave, head to the bathroom and lock the door. Then call our office or 911 as soon as possible. Quick action is important to ensure your safety.
Remember, your well-being is our top priority. Follow these steps to stay safe at all times.

If you break or damage something during a cleaning visit, don’t worry—you won’t get into trouble! Just make sure to notify your supervisor right away and take photos of the damage. If the client is home, let them know what happened. If they’re not there, leave a note about the damage and notify your direct manager.
Honesty is one of our core values at CleanFlorida. The important thing is to report the damage. Not reporting it can lead to disciplinary action, and that’s something we want to avoid. Your Field Supervisor will contact the client, explain the situation, and discuss next steps with you.
Never try to hide a broken item. Accidents happen, and both clients and management understand this. In CleanFlorida’s 20 years of business, clients rarely fire us because something was broken—but they do when they discover we’ve lied or hidden the damage.
If we’re honest, we can usually fix things and move forward. However, failure to report can lead to suspension or termination. Click or tap on the image on the left for more information on how to handle these situations properly.
If you’re injured at work, immediately report it to your supervisor and take photos of the injury. Write a description of the incident while it’s fresh in your memory and send it to your supervisor. If the injury is life-threatening, call 911. For non-life-threatening injuries, call your supervisor if you can’t continue working, and they will take you to urgent care or an approved facility. All injuries, even minor ones like a cut or bump, must be reported to ensure proper documentation. Delaying a report may lead to insurance claim denial. If you are treated for a work-related injury, expect to take a drug and alcohol test; claims will be denied if substances are found. If you initially refuse medical treatment but later feel worse, you have seven days to seek care. Avoid going to the emergency room unless it’s a true emergency, as insurance may not cover it otherwise. CleanFlorida will offer you light-duty work in the office if you are unable to perform your regular duties while recovering.
For serious injuries that prevent work, the insurance company will handle compensation for lost wages, though the process may take time. CleanFlorida compensates employees for attending one follow-up medical appointment after an injury, although the law doesn’t require this. Additional appointments must be scheduled outside of work hours to avoid disruption. Employees on light duty must follow this same rule. Notify your supervisor at least 48 hours before any medical appointment and submit documentation from the provider to receive compensation. Further medical appointments may require the use of PTO or unpaid leave. Adherence to this policy is mandatory, and exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. CleanFlorida prioritizes employee recovery while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with regulations. For more information, employees should contact their direct supervisor.
